Campbell Newman as Premier of Queendland?

Will the former Mayor of Brisbane Campbell Newman suceed Anna Bligh and become the new Premier of Queensland if the Liberal National Party wins the state election to be staged by next year? At this stage, even though Newman is LNP leader, Jeff Seeney is the state's opposition leader.
