If I lied to a cop and said my bf hit me will I get in trouble when I tell the truth?? ?

We were drunk and I have ppl that were there and they know that nothing really happend I just got scared nd wanted him to leave because we had an argument. So I callef the cops and said he hit me. The sheriff station said I have to talk to the cop to drop charges since it happend 2 nights ago. What will he do?
