Survey---Have you ever been served papers by a sheriff's deputy?

Cuz we just did. Again. I got served papers when I got divorced, and when I had to go to court as a witness to rape. My room-mate keeps getting served papers because he got beat-up, and the dudes who did it keep pushing the trial off. So deputy friendly was here again, and I'm wondering if you've had the same experience? Cool. I'm a complete idiot, I assure you.
