That's not the way to go. What comes next is taking out an ad in the paper where he lives saying that you intend to divorce him and telling him how and where to respond. If he doesn't answer then you can go ahead and divorce him, and since he won't show up in court (most likely) you can get everything you ask for. Check with your state to find out how to do this.
