What do I do with a landlord that harasses us to move out.?

We live in a house in the country that we rent from an evil landlord. Now he's calling the sheriff on us several times for no reason just to harass us.. Just because he wants us out but we were never late on rent ,electricity and water and we also bought a computer laptop for his daughter ,a 65 inch TV,2 cell phones which we paid for monthly,and we gave them desktop computer to help them out and this is how they treat us and his wife says we are like family to them., and also he had his son capture 2 of our cats and won't return them,we think he took them some where and dropped them off or killed them. What do we do about this./
