Y&R: Does Victor Newman hate his Son Adam?

Yes Victor hates Adam. I think it is a case that Adam is too similar to Victor and it rubs him the wrong way, especially because Adam doesn't worship at Victor's feet the way his other children all do from time to time. It is easy to ignore one's own character flaws except when one sees them in someone else. Both of them are tenacious, sensitive to perceived hurts, hold a grudge, and go to any lengths to even the score. It is like two rocks in a rock polisher, perpetually smashing into each other, chipping away at each other surfaces while doing equal harm to themselves, not being able to stop.
